If regular readers feel tight at the temples, leave marks, or slide forward, you likely need XL sizing. Most men who measure around 145 mm or more from temple to temple are more comfortable in XL frames.
Use a ruler or soft measuring tape and measure straight across your face from temple to temple. Then choose frames with a total width within about 10 mmof that number. If you’re between sizes, it’s usually better to go slightly wider.
Rectangles, bold squares, and larger aviatorstend to balance wider faces best. Look for frames labeled Large, XL, or XXL, and check the width measurements if you’re unsure.
