After cataract surgery I can see great at a distance...but need glasses for close focal lengths. But I need a different strength for reading and for computer. I was juggling two different pairs and they ended up scattered around the house. These are a blessing. One pair for both needs! I had tried progressives and they didn't work. Now I can look at the screen and then some text with same glasses! Also great for cooking and following a recipe. Highly recommend. I will say it took me about a week to get used to them...after that all great. Nice customer service too!
Blues Music - Dual-Strength Bifocal
- 1.50 Ounces
Super colors and a contemporary round shape paired with a keyhole bridge make give these reading glasses a cool pop music style. Our frames are high end optical quality, similar to those you'd find in prescription eyeglasses.
Optical quality dual strength bifocals feature a stronger strength on the bottom, and a weaker strength on top - which is typically about 50% weaker.
What to expect (and not to expect):
- As with all ready-to-wear bifocals, the half moon shape bifocal is located approximately the lower third and the inner third of the lens. They do not make bifocal that go all the way across. Our eyes converge when we read, so it's not necessary, and would add unnecessarily to the expense and weight of the product.
- There is a line on this bifocal, which you can feel if you run your finger across the outside of the lens.
- Just shy of 5-1/2" x 1-2/3" for average to wide face sizes
- Spring Hinge
- Optical cr39 lenses for excellent visual clarity

I've hunted this type of readers for months and finally found these. 1.50 on top to see computer screen and 2.50 on bottom to see fine print up close, I love them.
